In case you missed our previous post, the annual film festival celebrating dance in the motion picture medium kicks off this Friday at The Music Center, with a live performance by the LA local dance company, BODYTRAFFIC within a special commissioned structure created by LA artist Gustavo Godoy. Our Dance Downtown series continues with a bit of T-A-N-G-O on June 13th and good ole’ country line dancing on June 27th.
See the brilliant interpretation of this timeless love story at a special screening of West Side Story, playing at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on June 14th as part of LA Conservancy’s Last Remaining Seats series. As a bonus, everyone who buys tickets to West Side Story from now to June 6th will automatically be entered to win a pair of tickets to the opening night performance of National Ballet of Canada’s Romeo and Juliet on July 10 at 7:30 p.m.
